ABOUT ME
Kimba Williams is an award-winning sales executive turned entrepreneur and college success speaker. She is the author of the bestselling book, Your Search For the Right College, and President of CollegePath USA, an organization focused on getting high achieving , motivated students to and through college.
With her million-dollar smile and attitude to match, gut-busting sense of humor, eloquent speaking ability, and energetic presence, Kimba is sure to add tremendous value and knowledge to any audience!
Kimba speaks at high schools, nonprofits, colleges, and school districts all across the country, inspiring students to believe in their ability to achieve and win in life through high school, college, and beyond!
As a past first-generation-to-college student, Kimba understands first-hand how challenging the college admissions process can be and has done tremendous work with low-income, first-generation-to-college students, too. In 2008, she founded CollegePATH, Inc., a nonprofit organization that shrinks the college information divide for under-resourced students and provides them with ACT/SAT tutoring, college advising, mentoring, and STEM field experiences. When it comes to supporting students and their journeys to and through college, Kimba can talk the talk and walk the walk!
Kimba graduated magna cum laude, from the top HBCU in the country, Spelman College with a degree in psychology and went on to earn an Master’s in Business Administration at University of Miami where she graduated top of her class. After spending over 15 years as a sales executive for Fortune 500 companies such as The Coca-Cola Co. and Aventis Pharmaceuticals, she went on to pursue her passion of entrepreneurship. Kimba currently runs her entrepreneurial ventures, CollegePath USA, and her speaking practice from her offices in South Florida.

Kimba was a first-generation-to-college student whose first experience on a college campus was the day she moved into her dorm. After learning the system, she earned over $50,000 in scholarships, moved to England for a study abroad program, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Spelman College.
